Hassocks and chairs

The 'help yourself to a hassock' invitation has met with an enthusiastic response and we are now down to the number we need, so please don't take any more! However, we do still have a few of the old wooden chairs if anyone would like one. Please see the Vicar or a Churchwarden.

Thanks to the working party volunteers last weekend for turning out on Saturday morning. It was possible to clear the edges of the drive of accumulated soil and weeds, discourage some weeds behind the Hall, clean up the drive in front of the church, remove debris from the boiler steps and Spring clean the hall kitchen. John Powell

John was discharged on Wednesday from Bushey Hospital, after successfully undergoing a somewhat serious spinal operation. He would like to thank all for their special prayers and kind thoughts and to say that he hopes to see everyone again when he fully recovers.
